97-821631Q1 Aluminum Gimbal Housing Anode - MerCruiser Drives

This aluminum anode kit includes installation hardware for fast and easy replacement of a corroded anode on MerCruiser Drives.

 Inspect anodes periodically for best protection and replace when seeing signs of corrosion or pitting

 Don’t let corrosion damage your MerCruiser Drive

 These anodes meet or exceed mil-spec MIL-A-24779(SH) providing longer lasting protection than zinc anodes and are for use in fresh or salt water

 Cast in aluminum to fit at the base of the gimbal housing on your MerCruiser R, MR, Alpha One Gen II, Bravo series, X, XR and XZ Drives. It is designed to help combat the harmful effects of galvanic corrosion. Some attaching hardware is included for replacement of corroded anodes using common tools. Use existing bolts.
